I am a glass artist focusing on three dimensional sculpture, free-standing neon sculpture, and flameworked glass. Growing up in my father’s fused glass studio, I went on to pursue a career in ecological science. I studied at Western Neon, Pratt Fine Arts, and Pilchuck Glass School, and have been working and teaching glass technique for the last seven years.
In 2022 I was awarded the John and Mary Shirley scholarship in glass from Pratt Fine Arts, and was selected for the Emerging Artist Award from Pilchuck Glass School in 2024. In late 2024 my work has been featured in the Cafesjian Artist Trust Museum’s Midwest Voices in Contemporary Glass, and my piece was later acquired by the museum collection. I currently have a piece on view at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport alongside other artists from Foci MN Center for Glass Art through 2026. I completed a residency in neon and flameworked glass at Fire Arts Center in Minneapolis in late 2025, and held a solo residency show in October 2025 at Nokomis Gallery in Minneapolis. My work has been featured in local gallery shows, and will be featured in a Member Exhibition at Foci MN Center for Glass Arts in January-February 2026.
My work focuses on ecological and personal grief, using neon and flameworked glass.
I often do! When I have a piece for sale, I typically post it on my glass instagram account (@driftless_glass). I may also post it on this site frequently. If you saw something you were interested in, get in touch.
Short answer: sometimes.
Long answer: it depends on the project and I reserve the right to say no to anything I don't want to do. If you have something in mind that fits my style and matches my current portfolio, get in touch. Prices cover my time, materials, and additional fees - commissions can be pricey.
Sure do. I teach at Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis. I sometimes teach workshops and other classes through Chicago Avenue Fire Arts in Minneapolis. Check their websites to see the latest offerings.
My flameworking and neon work can be found in the gallery spaces at Foci MN Center for Glass Arts and Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Nokomis Gallery in Minneapolis, MN, and WHAT Art School and Gallery in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. I frequently do seasonal markets and will post those on my instagram (@driftless_glass).
